I call IRCC and my status is Eligibility and Criminality passed and security not started. "Security not started" status since 2 weeks. As an inland applicant living in Canada for two years now, I wonder why security is delayed?

My security is not started for 7 weeks. Inland for 3 years now.

Ohhh!! Thank you for letting me know. I didn’t know about this thing that every VOs are different in doing their virtual landings. Yes, I read a post by few people that they get call from ‘unknown caller’. Let’s see how Montreal VO works…

In tat case security will take time to complete but there’s no sense in not starting the security at all because one has extensive travel history

How do you say it's not a glitch, especially the Sundays?

1) Some people get their COPR during weekends. Or maybe they update the system record during weekends. Either way, weekend update is possible.
2) Usually the website glitch happens when the website is down. I’ve seen that and it’s not what happened today.

I’m not ruling out it’s a glitch. Just saying it’s less likely based on my experience.
