This is so frustrating. I have written to MP and the office responded very promptly. They will contact IRCC about my Nov 19th AOR and let me know.
I hope IRCC did not lay off employees/contractors due to Covid - that could be a reason for delays.

yes MPs are great -- you should recieve an update within a week. I dont think they laid off many ppl, its just that they were not equipped to work from home, at all.

Thank you, amairena95. It is another option for me to do in couple weeks because I would like to get my wife to work and we are still waiting for her WP decision.
Just got an update in the profile, I guess it is the medical thing cause ours are expired July 29. This is the second update after the first one on July 30.
Today, the message under medical changes like this:

• We are reviewing the results of your medical exam.

Got a biometrics request letter apparently they sent it in error instead of the biometrics instruction letter.
Requested correction no updated been a few days now.
Fingers crossed.

Ah true true! Yea idk bud time to involve your MP and see were your file stands. Get gcms and see if your info sharing is complete (it usually takes a bit longer for those with US history but its nothing to worry about).
What was your vo again?
Also if youre waiting on a wp for your wife, is she here on a visitor visa? Was she outside at some point?

1. Ottawa transfered to Sydney, NS now.
2. My wife on study permit with no degree awarded. 4 years study now. We are always here inland, never left Canada.

I see yea theres absolutely no reason other than a slow officer and vo. Bug your MP, theres no good reason for the delay.

Did you submit rcmp? Fun story with mine.
I got the request in april 23 and submitted couple weeks after. All good, got the aknowledgement email, i could see it in my gcms notes and my MP's response showed they have it.

Got the request again on monday ( as a reminder), submitted right away of course. Aknowledgement came in like 30min this time. Had a GU yesterday.
Not sure if all passed now, but i hope so.

Might wanna submit your rcmp again as a reminder.

try emailing your MP https://www.ourcommons.ca/members/en/search -- also try submitting your rcmp again through the webform (i submitted mine, and then got asked to submit it again 'as a reminder').

I have also sent RCMP through webform, hopefully it will expedite my application.

Today I received my GCMS notes, and on it say everything passed except Criminality in Progress + I saw there was written RCMP fingerprints required.

My file got approved on July 28, VO - Vancouver, AOR - November 12, CEC
still did not get any email and file is not transferred to local vo.
I don't know for what they are waiting. auspicious day and time ??????

youre almost there! give it a bit more, ive seen wait times from 'approved' to pr portals go from 1 day to up to 2 months. it all depends on the vo, and the specific officer

Still waiting on MP's response about my application status. I managed to get a call back from client services today where I have a few more details. Apparently, my security has not been started. Now with that, I am more concerned because security takes time and its not yet started. I will also order my GCMS notes today.

hey security for inland applicants is quite fast! dont worry too much, you will get approved, its kind of oficially just a matter of time (i know its painful)
