So, I noticed that in some instances people will see that their meds have been passed or a Background check is in process, but they haven’t received any kind of message or notification that this is the case. How can you determine what is going on with the application (in reference to the above) without receiving the notifications you’re ‘supposed’ to get?

order GCMS notes or check your account frequently. the former gives you more detailed insight into your application. the latter on the other hand can be very cumbersome if you check couple of times a day..lol

Also there are various topics talking about the process behind the scenes but some are just speculation/guessing/from analyzing their GCMS. You can order yours but they usually take around 30 days to receive.
There is also an immigration tracker that can give you an idea of processing times.

I guess you won't get notification for passing the medical and will only receive notification when they need extra files?
My medical passed on 3rd too, but I didn't get any notification.
