My application is stuck in Security since September, 2021. I already contacted MP, several webforms, asked for notes +4 times and nothing. Too many unsuccessful calls too. Any suggestion?

Thanks!
They ask PFL from regarding my job NOC code on Nov21,2021 and I submitted on 23rd but still no final decision

When I called last week I was told the same thing that medical and security is passed but criminality hasn’t started yet and eligibility is in progress. Not really sure if that’s right so I’m waiting for my notes to be sure.

When I called them and I asked the lady to send reminder email to my officer.
She said that she will send reminder email to officer. But she do not know how long the officer will take to check it.
She said it can be 1 month to check email it .
LOL

CEC Application from May 10 , 2021.
Primary Office : Montreal
I applied for 2 time GCMS note.
The last update on my file was on 06-02-2021. (Biometric )

What is issue with Montreal office can any one explain ?

There seems to be a batch of files with AoR May 10-12 (MEP around June 1-2 ish) that were "triaged" to Montreal, not sure if it's just an unfortunate batch based on date, or based on something "review required" in your file.

We are all told and believed the ridiculously-longer-than-average processing time is because our cases are somewhat complex, but that might not always be true. It feels like no matter your case is simple or complex, as long as your visa office is Montreal, current trend is you'll have to wait for 8 months before an officer even touch your file, then if your case is unfortunately indeed "complex", the complex-case-processing-time actually starts from there. (Just a feeling, not confirmed)

Montreal seems to be processing mainly April files now, and a few cases of 1st week of May. Maybe. If more people could share their updates and timelines, it will help all of us to know more about where we are at.

You can join the Montreal VO group if you are not there yet. https://chat.whatsapp.com/Kd6E35dhFFxEvkLvcgbvgi

I applied for my wife on Dec-15 and got the docs in mail on Jan 5th. The document itself was issued on Dec-21. It was waiting for Canada Post to deliver it.

So it just canada post that is taking long. Its very fast that they issues in just 6 days. Did you fill any web form to request extension. Because they only give 30 days to submit.

No none. I did not require one.
