I know RCMP CRC may not be asked from everyone but does any1 has an idea or knows at what stage it can be asked? If Biometrics is exempted, is it safe to assume RCMP won't be requested later ?
To everyone who's concerned about not getting updates after their AOR in May 2021. Just wait, it takes time. The processing time as per the IRCC website for CEC candidates is 6 months and its barely been a month for most us and in some cases, less than a month.
If you don't hear anything after 2 full months, then you can order your GCMS notes. Until then, chill out, drink beer and enjoy the weather (for those of us in BC).
3rd May
But biometrics are mandatory anyway, a lot of people from the February draw got RCMP requests regardless of their biometrics.
Those processing times are not accurate, some CEC apps have been ongoing for almost a year and many Feb-March 2021 got COPR in 2-3 months.
How we will know if we passed R10?Wait for few weeks and then check. CIO will do R10 check i.e. completeness check and then send it to either CPC for further processing
"An acknowledgement of receipt (R10 passed) letter is issued to an applicant (or their representative, if applicable) once their application for permanent residence has passed the R10 completeness check. The letter is issued by the Centralized Intake Office. If the application was submitted electronically, this letter is sent to the applicant (or their representative, if applicable) via their MyCIC account; otherwise, the letter is sent by mail. Is it after biometrics update?

Do we receive AOR letter after R10 is passed ?
You receive the AOR acknowledgement receipt the day you get the AOR. Check your MYCIC account..
Yes. the day I submitted my application. But I was confused about this line
"An acknowledgement of receipt (R10 passed) letter is issued to an applicant (or their representative, if applicable) once their application for permanent residence has passed the R10 completeness check."
This was happened to my application but without Medical Passed. For EE, AOR is automatic. When you pass R10 check you'll get a BIL if applicable, Medical Passed and your UCI will change to your regular one
