Im a single applicant. No PCC was required since I’m in Canada since I was 17. Idk what’s taking so long...
Same here. Called IRCC today and still the same status as last month. Eligibility- Passed (confirmed its passed conclusively by the officer ), Security - Not Started, Criminality- In progress. I guess more wait for us May AOR folks. They haven't touched my file since I gave my Biometrics on Oct 14th. She mentioned that 6 months timeline means nothing in this pandemic and we have to sit tight to receive next update from IRCC which might take few weeks to months who knows. Lot of uncertainty with these administrative delays and have to wait patiently to get something in 2021 I guess. And Of course Visa Office- CPC Ottawa.

Just got off the phone with IRCC, she said that they are still working on criminality, they received my biometrics October 29. Once they pass criminality, they will decide for my Medicals, agent requested to the department for extension of expired medicals. Everything else is passed as per agent.
My AOR : May 22. CEC inland.

We all have our life and plan for the future. I haven't had an experience like this uncertain waiting. At least they should've gave us a rule and info about the delay. COVID is just their easy excuse.

How long medical stay valid? Isn't that 1 yr? How they need to extend it now!

Looks like most of our application is in "Criminality In Progress" state. Not sure why IRCC is taking so long to pass this stage.

It is really frustrating

I agree 100%. I am confident that we all will get through this endless wait. Times are tough and our patience is being tested at levels we have never experienced before, but a hope of positive decision keeps me motivated. And with most of May folks with eligibility passed it’s almost sure we all will get the good news, albeit whenever we get it.

Likely because unlike eligibility, they can't complete criminality from home as well as the security background. And have to go into the office to complete it on the secure server.
