Hey I was wondering, I submitted my application on June 7th and got the AOR on the same day, but I still do not see a progress bar and there have been no updates to my application at all? Is this normal?
In intended work section.
Has myname have valid job offer in canada? It should be yes or no? Is this section for LMIA?
Yeah buddy that section is for people who have LMIA..people who working under open work permit should select no...if you are talking about PR application..Check thisDid you answer yes or no? I was not sure if it was for LMIA or not, so I answered yes since I am currently working here? Is that misrepresentation?
Well I already applied with “yes” andhave even received my AOR. Do you think I should use Wen Form and submit a letter of explanation? I did not get points for LMIA anyway so it should cause any problems??Yeah buddy that section is for people who have LMIA..people who working under open work permit should select no...if you are talking about PR application..Check this

You can raise webform with LOE but as long as you didnt get points extra 50 it wont be a problem i guess. But better ask some other seniors in the forum...Well I already applied with “yes” andhave even received my AOR. thank you!!
I would say better verify with CIC calling them on the tollfree number..Lately they are calling to people whose application is approved i mean for ppl whose AOR is back from jan and feb instead of giving COPR..so through call they will confirm details and send a temporary PR card valid for 1yr to your home address which is same process as walkin..But your case is different your AOR is in may if im not wrong as you posted here and they mentioned you that your application is rejected...it doesnt make sense if it is about reject they usually send email..im assuming its a scam call but if u want to clear this up call.CIC and clarify it...safe side..Hi All,
I received a call from CIC and they verified few details on my application and asked me if all the applicants are in Canada and them he said your application is not approved and you would get a copy of it via email?
And the same time I saw a Ghost update on my profile.
Any idea of how this works? Is this a new process?
or anysort of SCAM call?
There was nothing before medical was passed. After medical pass, I saw the progress bar. Thanks. Were you able too see the progress bar before medical passed notification?
I am not sure there are different levels but I am going to Commissionaires for the finger prints. They send biometric to RCMP through a secure system and they do this for immigration. As long as Peel Regional Police knows which one you need for immigration you should be okay.Hi All,

They sent me 2 different letters with title "Request Letter" each explaining what document is required with deadline. Then you submit it through your account.Do they ask for any additional documents through the same letters section where BIL, AOR pdf etc are listed. For me the update was - "Last Action - You Passed Medical" and in the letter section had the 2 BILs - one for wife and one for me. If they ask for additional info, I guess it might be easy to spot
Can someone answer this?Hello everyone,
My timeline is as follows:
AOR - May 20
MED and BIL - July 11
Along with biometrics, I am also requested to provide RCMP. As per instructions in letter for RCMP request, I went to Peel Police website to get the criminal record check
There are 3 types of checks that Peel Police has. I have applied for level 2 check. I am just wondering if I am looking at the right place and this is what RCMP for Brampton residents is, Correct? I am from Brampton.
I just want to know if I am requesting the correct document from correct place?
Buddy you've most likely applied for municipal police background check. RCMP certificate usually needs fingerprint. Can someone answer this?
Letter from CIC clearly provides the link to obtain more information about the RCMP Background Check. I am not sure if you've reviewed that link in the letter. Can someone answer this?
Yes I did. It says contact your local police. And our local police is Peel Police. I have submitted a request for Criminal record check. They asked for 2 pieces of ID, and a picture of myself holding an ID sent to them via email. They are doing it online. Also, if i am doing it wrong (which I hope not), does anyone know how to obtain the RCMP check in Brampton?Letter from CIC clearly provides the link to obtain more information about the RCMP Background Check. I am not sure if you've reviewed that link in the letter.
