I have Received three ghost updates in past 3 weeks and one again today. What that means. I did not pay RPRF upfront and online account shows background checks and eligibility are still ongoing.

is that good sign or something to worry

I passed all the stages since Oct 21st, 2020 and still haven't gotten a COPR. Called IRCC on Nov 8th and they said the last note on my account by the VO was for them to pay me back my biometrics fee (I was exempted due to covid-19). All I have now is my patience

AOR: Match 9th, 2020
I have an outland spouse and no kids.
Quick update, I noticed that my biometrics FEE has been refunded on Dec 9th, 2020 but still no final decision.

I got RPRF request , as I did not pay upfront, after three ghost updates last week.
Is there anything that should still be bothering me or I should wait for an update soon

Hi guys, it looks like they have forgotten about us. My case is bad. I have received a refusal on March 11th on my previous CEC application because of a bad letter from my work. I fired my consultant, who made this happen and took everything in my hands. I received new ITA on March 23 and re-applied on March 27, right at the beginning of covid. AOR March 27, BIL May 27, upfront medicals were passed. June 4 - they asked to pay RPRF. My wife and daughter are outland. My wife should be expempt from biometrics, as she gave it before. Instead of that on September 22nd I received a message from them that she must give it and my status changed to "Your action is required". Ok, she gave biometrics on Nov 17 (first opening day in Moscow). Called them on Nov 18, they said just to wait and no more action from me was required. Then I gave biometrics on Nov 30 (first day when all of us received a chance to give it here without waiting for a call). Biometrics changed to "Passed" and nothing else changed. My "action" is still required, but there is nothing I can do. On Nov 20th I ordered GCMS notes and did not hear from them so far. The situation looks like a farce. The only good news is that they extended my WP, but it took about 5 months to do this. I am away from my wife and daughter for more than 2 years now and this scenario was never planned by us.
In pre-covid times the processing times for secondary applications after refusal were about 2-3 months
I wish everybody here good luck! This is not fair when they make decisions on summer applicants. There are still many people from February, March, April. I hope we will overcome this. I will be waiting for my GCMS notes.
Could you please share your consultant's mistake on the letter employment.

Wow, over 50% drop in productivity vs prior year. No wonder processing fees have to go up. It'll take years to clear that backlog and return to processing times under 6 months.

They may take a while to clear the backlog, so yes year is over 2020 and beyond this week i assume they wont be working (fair to say not working since they are working on reduced capacity so reduced of reduced capacity will end being no work done)
