Yes, status won't change until they stamp visa in your passport and officially approve the application. But you may have a ghost update on your application.

Same AOR and wanted to know your exact BG status !! Is it in progress after MEP or it says they will update once they will start BG ?

Received passport request today. CPC Edmonton.
But my status didn't change. Is it expected?

What was your BG status post MEP ? Was it like in Progress or was it like they will update when they will start BG ? I mean post MEP IP2 or IP1

I am CEC inland 16July AOR post MEP 13 Aug on IP1

Did anybody notice, "Estimated remaining processing time" is showing in weeks instead of months.

It’s seems if you are completing two months from AOR post that you will able to see in weeks instead month

Changed for me too. Wish they could give us update as which step they are instead of weeks/months

Just called CIC, they informed that criminality is in progress and VO is Edmonton. I have heard that Edmonton VO is very slow. Let’s see what happens next. AOR is 16th July.

My Work permit application is also in Edmonton with the same AOR. No movement on the WP application as well
