BI is Biometric Invitation but I am on same page with you on 1st March lol
I think He might have booked appointment for Biometrics on March 1st.

Q-1: Do they request RCMP on this stage only ? Or is it possible that they do it later in the process ? I am worried about it because I am in India at the moment and my return flight is on March 12. Planning to postpone it if it is not essential for me to come back to Canada, considering all the hotel quarantine drama.
Biometrics : We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Q-2: It shows like above in my Biometrics but my biometrics are already done and it shows that on top with biomatric number, date etc. Does this mean my biometrics are done ?
Q-3: what next update I should be looking for and approximately when ? I heard there are 2 things in background check that people consider as ghost updates. Can someone explain that ?

UPDATE as 5 months estimated time - JULY
My application status bar appeared today! It says 18% completed and estimated 5 months until competition. Also an extra line was noted in the application as well. It says I may not hear from them for awhile and most of the application update happens before the competition.

Apparently it’s how the EE system is built, it give you your extra work experience points about a month early.

does your account show a progress bar?
If yes, it will show you how much longer it will take. For example, estimated completion day July 10th, 2021.
