Hello All,

Weird things happened after some ghost update yesterday. Does anyone seen similar thing or in similar situation as below.

Haven't seen an update since 2 July 2020. Although there were ghost updates between then and now, nothing has progressed. The progress bar disappeared after 7 August 2020 and haven't seen it since then....Lol... Even the webform link with in the profile disappeared since December 2020.. Not sure what to even think of it. Below is my timeline:


CEC Inland, ITA 11 Dec 2019, Application submitted 7 Feb 2020, AOR 7 Feb 2020, BIOMETRICS 27 Feb 2020

Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: July 2, 2020 You passed the medical exam. (This update disappeared and changed to "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes" after a ghost update yesterday)
Review of additional documents: Changed from "We do not need additional documents" to "Not Applicable" after the ghost update yesterday
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: Feb 27, 2020 Completed.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I am also in same situation. My AOR date is 24th Feb 2020. I am seeing the same message as yours and still waiting as of 19th Feb 2021. I applied GCMS notes also. but I haven't received yet.

Hi can anyone confirm if they have received Copr ? My Aor was on feb 15, 2020 .. biometrics oct 23,2020 .. requested for Gcms notes dec 2020 it stated criminality and info sharing pending .. still waiting for Copr and my visa office is Ottawa .. anyone in similar situation?

Great to see that this is elevated to the public's attention. I hope IRCC takes some real actions to end this frustration.

What is the main reason for this much of wait?

Still it takes more than 13 months which is very unfair to us because people are getting pr in just 3 months it’s horrible

No update when the biometrics was updated I just randomly checked and saw. I logged in this week however and there was GU. I've seen a thread where someone said there might have been a glitch in the system. So who knows. Fingers crossed we get approval by end of month.

After 1 year ..Profile finally updated today! Application approved.
COPR doc # but no attachment.
AOR Feb 2020.

same! Finally! My application is approved too.
no attachment either. I guess we have to wait for the COPR document on the mail.
my AOR was Feb 25, 2020.

I dont know in my case eligibility says pass and info sharing it says ready to be assessed from last 9 months they dont even touch my file it is very unfair on cic
Please guys do something we should think of something to get through this otherwise we have to suffer for long as we did so far
People are getting copr in just 3 months and less and we are sitting for no reason

My application was finalized after a year of waiting. Each application is different. Hang in there all we can do is wait.
My experience was, I always called and send a web form to CIC but all they say is to wait. I ordered GCMS notes after 6 months when I applied, then waited for 3 months and ordered another one. Then last December 2020 received a call from an agent telling me to wait for an officer to call for a phone interview. Waited for a month then called cic but they cant even do anything and they told me to just wait for the call. Then last friday (Feb 26) exactly 1 yr that I applied they updated my profile and said that they have reached a final decision and its approved. Now I just have to wait again for the actual document on my mail and see any further instructions for my landing verification.
Hoping for the best!
