Nothing. I requested GCMS notes today just to see the office processing my application, and if they've started anything...

hey how long it takes to get GCMS notes? any idea

No idea. I've never ordered them before. My guess is that it takes longer than usual, like everything else :/ I hope I'll get them in 4 or 5 weeks...

@mstefan Could you please update here when you get your GCMS notes

Thank you

Of course, I will.

I know a couple of ppl who did this before. Overall, it shouldn't take more than 4 weeks and also keep in mind
that the notes you see is probably a month old

Yeah, I've heard that too. Like they prepare them 2 or 3 days after your request and dispatch them after 4 or 5 weeks... I'm going to ask for new ones every time I receive the previously ordered ones :p

Is RCMP a must? I mean does everyone who has applied through CEC get a request for RCMP? Or the officers send this request to whom they pick/want?

Not everyone. I did not receive such a request after my Medicals and Biometrics have passed and it's been 3 weeks already.

There are theories that they ask it only if your name is the same or similar to somebody who has some kind of criminal record. I don't know if this info has ever been officially confirmed, but that's what people are saying generally on this forum.

Hi folks,

Hope all are staying safe!

I've received an ITA to apply under CEC. When I created my profile, i answered "Yes" to ( Does ......... have a relative who is a citizen or permanent resident of Canada ).

Now that I am working on submitting my application. I've noticed that I won't be claiming any points for a relative since I am applying under CEC.

Can the answer be changed to "No" keeping in mind i answered "Yes" when i created my profile? If that's fine, do I need to provide a LOE?

Appreciate the help!

We got exactly same reply for the status email we sent. Looks like they are sending similar message to everyone as there may be too many people who applied for the RCMP certificate. Nothing more to do but wait. Please do update if anyone gets the RCMP certificate in the mailbox. I will update when I get it too. Thanks.

Biometrics given for WP, Updated in system.
RCMP request only for spouse : March 3, 2021

Hello @Justmeee ,

May I please know whats the status for biometrics for you since you gave it for WP. Does it show "Biometrics completed" or is it still "We do not need your fingerprints right now" but the biometrics number is updated in the profile .

Thank you for you reply :)
