Hi,

My ITA has been issued. I am on Study Permit currently. Can I start working? My PGWP has expired?

If not what must I do?

Receiving an ITA has nothing to do with your status in Canada.

Can you clarify - you say you are currently on a study permit, but you have an expired PGWP? Did you study, get the PGWP, and then later get another study permit?

If you have a study permit for full-time study, and in compliance with the terms of your study permit (in good standing with your study program), you are permitted to work part-time (maximum 20 hours per week, full-time during breaks) without a work permit.

I came here as a student. My PGWP has expired. I applied to remain as a student. Not sure if that will be approved as I had no letter of acceptance. I told them that I am planning to take continuing education courses. I got my ITA today and am wondering if I will be eligible for a BOWP right now. My status as a PGWP holder has expired just a few days back.

No - you're not eligible for a BOWP. To be eligible for a BOWP, you must be holding a valid work permit at the time you apply for a BOWP. Since your PGWP has expired, you don't qualify for a BOWP.
