CEC applicant - Mandatory field of total Amount of money bringing to Canada

Hello guys,

As the title says, I’m a CEC applicant but while creating my express entry profile, there is a Mandatory field under “family” section where it asks how much money are you bringing to Canada.
My question is do we enter zero in that field because CEC applicants don’t need to show proof of funds or else what do I enter in it as I cannot leave it empty.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can put whatever you want in that field. It's a legacy system requirement mainly meant for FSW EE or WPs. It really doesn't matter since you're being invited to apply for PR through the CEC program. You are not required to show proof of funds.

However, you should definitely add a letter of explanation with your application stating that you have been invited through the CEC program and because of that you're not required to show funds. Visa officers are real and genuine people too. They will understand.
