CEC and WP extension at same time

Hi,

Can any one suggest, if I file CEC in Feb 1st week and now I am applying for WP extension (ICT extension, not LMO) next week.

Is there any problem or issue that can arise? Should I take care of anything? Please suggest.

I am also going to do the open work permit extension.

But you cannot apply at the same time, or you run the risk of your work permit extension application being refused.
In order to meet the requirements for a WP extension, you must have received your CEC AOR email first.

My CEC application was sent today and should arrive in Sydney NS on Monday March 4th. What I am doing is preparing all the application forms for the WP extension, and then minute I receive my CEC AOR, I will submit my application for WP extension.

I do not have to wait for my AOR, as I am not applying for Open/Bridge WP.

Mine is closed WP extension(company sponsored -- ICT).

its not a problem. You can apply WP extension.

In order to meet the requirements for a WP extension, you must have received your CEC AOR email first.

That is only true for a bridging open work permit. The OP is applying for a different work permit.
