Hi there :)

I got an LMO to work for 2 years in Alberta and I landed on November 2nd 2013 then officially started work on November 05th 2014.

since then I've been working full time yet I went on vacation for 6 weeks (4 fully paid and 2 unpaid).

Please help me count when exactly I would complete my 52 weeks. Personally,I think it would be by December 20th so not sure if it would be still time to apply under CEC's current rules or I would have no choice but to apply under CEC's new rules overshadowed by Express Entry. I hear Express Entry will keep CEC and the other streams but there will be an automatic selection of applicants based on their ranks (after filling out questionnaires online+investigation).

One more thing, my current NOC is 1453 Customer service Clerk and I don't think that it would allow me apply under CEC. I will be promoted by Jan 2015 to get a better NOC.

Any advice on the above matters would be highly appreciated.

From my understanding you will need a full time equivalent of hours under a qualifying NOC. So i dont thing that the hours you worked under the non qualifying NOC (Clerk) would count

Thank you Bob.I 've checked with a lawyer and he said if I apply under a new qualifying NOC it should be fine.
