CEC and BOWP time scale

Hi Everyone,

So my situation is I applied for a second BOWP on the 12th of April this year as my CEC application is still being processed since May 1st 2014. Hopefully I get my new BOWP on time or get my PR but does implied status still exist so I can work while waiting for my BOWP? My current permit ends July 1st so I'm cutting it very close.

You are on implied status once your current WP expires and you can continue to work legally while you wait the outcome of your BOWP/PR application.

Not totally correct and/or can be misconstrued .............. on implied status only during the processing of BOWP, not PR
