CBSA officers incorrect annotation on passport stamp of a PR at entry

1. My father came to Canada on a visitor visa in Sept 2012 and received PPR for immigrant visa stamping from Seattle in Nov. 2012
2. In Jan 2013, my father became PR by going to Buffalo and returning the same day for PR landing.
3. In Mar 2013, my father went to India for 6 weeks and returned to Canada in Apr 2013. He received his PR card before he left Canada in Mar 2013.
4. My father was living continously in Canada from Sept 2012 to Mar 2013, except same day Buffalo visit for landing.
5. When he arrived at Toronto airport in Apr 2013, the CBSA officer stamped his passport with arrival date and put a remark "Away since Oct 2012". However, this was incorrect, as my father was away since Mar 2013. It was a miscommunication between my father and CBSA officer. My father failed to check the stamp before he left the counter.
6. How to get the remark corrected or inform CBSA. Otherwise, it can easily cause RQ in his future Citizenship or PR renewal application.

Please advise who we can contact to report this and how to contact (by mail/fax)?

I have not called CBSA yet. I wanna know the best course of communication with CBSA. Probably by mail, so that I can attach copies of passport pages and proof of landing.

CBSA have offices in many cities across Canada. Perhaps you can visit one of them and discuss with them in person.

I got one CBSA office in Toronto which is open to travellers - http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/contact/listing/offices/office1473-e.html

I'll go there and get it rectified.
