Hello Seniors/ Forum Mates,

Really appreciate the kind help you guys are providing to all of us here.
I have a weird problem to discuss here, In 2013 i travelled outside Canada to my home country and while landing back in Toronto the officer did not stamp my passport and in the heat of things i forgot to request him for the stamp and walked out of the airport. When later i realized i tried to get in touch with CBSA for some kind of record of my landing.

To my surprise CBSA told me that my entry is not in their records at all !! which means the officer it seems did not even scan my passport and just let me through.
Recently i applied for a detailed travel history record from CBSA and i dont see that particular entry in the record list.

So my question is that when i file for my citizenship , what should i do ? Should i talk about this travel at all ? IF yes then what proof will i have ( i dont have the boarding passes :( )
How will i provide to CIC that i did enter at the specific time and moreover if CIC gets in touch with CBSA , even the CBSA wont be able to help?

NOt sure what to do here , any help/suggestions would be appreciated!!

I am confused. I thought ATIP shows that, in which stage your application is and in CBSA we can see the record of exit/entry to Canada.

Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) requests are accepted by many different departments. Full list here:

ATIP requests from Canada Border Services Agency can be made online here: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/pia-efvp/atip-aiprp/contact-eng.html :)

Seniors / Members,

Can anybody please reply to the original issue of this topic.

Thanks.
You have to disclose this trip. You musn't hide it. If you don't have the foreign country entry/exit stamps in your passport (if you do, that would suffice, just translate them if they're not in English), you need to order the border agency report from that country. I'm assuming you travelled to your homeland as you don't have entry/exit stamps. You need to contact your homeland border agency. Hope that helps.

ETA: One more thing, if you travelled by plane and remember the airline and dates, you can order a copy of the eticket. I know people on this forum did that. Of course you have to pay extra for that. 25 bucks or so.

You must disclose this trip as omission is considered false representation and lie in CIC terminology.

Just check what else you can bring to prove this trip...like re-entry/exit from home country, work related history or letters and pay stub from employer etc.
As far as you were in Canada during the period there will be no problem in establishing it.
Remember it is easier to prove a truth.

dont see any problems here. just declare any absences , regardless its been recorded or not!
and apply 1,or 2 weeks after reaching 1095 days to give yourself buffer.
