What a bad oath taking experience in Vancouver. Rude staff didn't let us hold our babies in our laps. When babies cried asked leave the room, my wife tried to calm them down at the back seats, wouldn't allowed to go out for awhile. Staff got mad and so... It is just passed, I don't wanna talk...

You can submit your T4, NOA and rental agreements, It wont hurt anybody which I did and completed everything in 8 months.

update Hi, I got my oath letter today scheduled Feb 6th. Office Vancouver. Received June 13 Test done by Nov 12th. Total processing time is less than 8 months. Journey is over, thank you all.

travel plan or money is nothing to me. I would never take this risk.

you can always change your dates paying with fine which is maximum 150$ If you buy from expedia, they can do it for you without fine. good luck

There were not specific questions with the dates, at least on my and my wife's test. Instead of studying from booklet, you can practise exam online. Goodluck.

starting process takes 2 months. due to background checks etc. how come it takes 1 week?

You don't need a exit, enter stamp on your hc passport. You can request CBSA record. The question has been answered couple of times. Check old topics.
