Cash deposit in POF

Hi all,


My father made a few cash deposits in my account. I am using this account for my POF. This amount is almost 40% of my total POF requirement.

I am taking a gift deed for these deposits from my father. So, will it be a problem considering that it is a cash deposit?

Note:- This happened in feb'18 and money have been in my account for past 5 months.

If transactions happened in Feb, then you can ignore that month in statement. Generally 3 months of bank statement is enough. I got my PR with 1 month bank statement.

How did you work out for you? Were you able to provide the documents?
Could you please share the format and the documents you provided ?
I received cash gift that I deposited in my account and it is around half the amount I require, I am a bit stressed about showing this. ITA - aug 31st and the deposits were between june- july
