cases applied in 2010 with status "In process"

Hi

I have been trying so hard to get correct/valid answer from the immigration forums but did not get yet and fortunately found this forum today with a hope that will get the correct answers for my queries.
Can you kindly tell me that how long embassy will take to give final say on cases applied in 2010.?
I have applied in April 2010 and sent 2nd stage document(i.e.Ielts score,ace medic documents,fund statement ,work experience details ) in Oct.2010 and Now this year i.e. in March 2012 my status is updated to "In process" from "Application Received".As when I had applied I was told by the consultant that your case is under fast track programm so decision will come in 6-12 months but as of now its already 2 years + have passed but no response got yet.
How long really it will take ?what is the maximum time frame for FSW cases applied in 2010 year?

we are sailing in almost a same boat, i am also a 2010 applicant and on 25th MAY 2012 my ecas updated to In-process from Application Received. i think your consultant said 6-12 months from the date of Application review process so you should expect a response from your embassy during September - December 2012. & yes you wont get any concrete answer on your queries as there are so many grey areas in the whole immigration process that its now impossible to give you straight answers. so everybody just reply based on their personal experiences or information.

Thanks dear,well all the applicants been suffering from same diseasesreally fed up from immigration system.I wonder why they are not updating their clients with accurate information.Even on their website in application processing time they have mentioned "18" Months for New delhi office.What these 18 months cover not clear yet and On top my consultant bluntly say that We do not know anything when your case will be through, seems just wasted huge money on consultant as they are not uttering single word on time frame just claiming earlier that Apply your case with us and you will get in 6-12 months misleading the applicants..!!.
Whatever time frame embassy take at least they should mention the maximum time period correctly.


Another query I want to ask you about enquiry system any idea in what time frame inquiries occur.As one of my friend had sent 2nd stage document in Jan 2011 he got telephonic inquiry in April 2012 But as such I have not got any calls yet. How does this system work??

the best solution to this problem is to just forget the immigration thingy and dont check your ecas everyday, like me - verification calls varies from case to case. so you might not received any verification calls and get medical whereas another person receive employer verification, educational documents verification etc etc. . so it all depends upon the quality of the documents and also on the reviewers mood

Hmm..it will be the best part ..as immigration system itself is not answering queries...Mr,Davin choen is not providing any expert opinion on these quires?. Another query is if I update now my employer information,martial status will it be affecting the processing time by any mean??
Or the best thing is I will be in same mode as when I applied the case to get the decision faster??
Very confused about all these queries.. !!

1. Application filed > May 28, 2010
2. Confimation of receipt of Application package received > June 2, 2010
3. Received letter from Centralized Intake Office, Sydney(issuing an UCI# and an Application #) and asking me to send additional docs/final package > Oct 1, 2010
4. Confirmation of receipt of Application package(final) by NDVO > Jan 17, 2011
NDVO advised me(through snail mail) to send any communications('reminder' in this case) through my representative/agent(JET Immigration) as I had authorized the same > Sep 9, 2011
5. On my behalf, my agent (JET Immigration) sent a reminder to NDVO > Oct 10, 2011...but nothing changed/I heard
6. Status changed at ECAS: Your Application was recevied and we started processsing on May 29, 2012
