Case transferred to Etobicoke, anyone know how long they will contact us?

Our In-Canada sponsorship application was transferred to the local office (Etobicoke), anyone know how long they will schedule the interview for us?

It really depends on why your application was transferred to that particular office:

If this really is your local office, the wait will probably be minimal (maybe a month [guessing).

If this is NOT your local office...it could mean that there's an issue with your application, as many have mentioned that Etobicoke is the place where apps go that are being scrutinized, for various reasons...and the wait times can be several months.

That's exactly what I was afraid of.

So, is this the only office in Canada that handles cases that are in question? If an applicant in another province has their application routed to Etobicoke...does that mean that they in fact have to travel to that office eventually?

We just had our best evidence a few days ago, we have a baby now. I think this would be a very strong evidence once we are asked to the interview.

I'm in Toronto, Ontario. So I don't know if this is really my local office, or I'm in the black hole now.

I hope it won't be longer than the 8 months time span of Stage 1...
