Case-specific inquiry - Error

Hello,

I tried to send a case specific enquiry to Rome. My message was within the max character amount, and I uploaded one document a .jpg, that was only 35 kb.

I have tried multiple times but when I click "send" I end up on a page that reads the following:


Server Error in '/enquiries-renseignements' Application.

The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address.

Hello,

This is a problem with their online system

Its happening to all visa offices not just Rome, hopefully they will fix it soon

Its been going on for a few days now

Same thing is happening today and yesterday with the Case Specific Enquiry-Beijing..., but not the "Case Specific Enquiry in Canada" - I was able to upload a message but didn't attempt to upload a file (as was my failed attempt with Beijing) Is your Rome portal working yet?

Haven't tried again yet. Was waiting to read something on here that it would be working again. I will try tomorrow.

Are you submitting the Enquiry from within Canada? I'm just trying to figure out if it's an issue of location of origin, or of destination... in that my "Enquiry" to "in Canada" (sent from within Canada,) went without a hitch

I have emailed them before and have the email address, so I just sent a normal email using that email address and it worked fine

The email address is usually something like ....@international.gc.ca

Maybe ask on the Rome thread and Beijing thread to see if anyone has it and then try that way?

@ABml - No, I'm outside of Canada trying to send to a VO office outside of Canada.

I've been trying to send something to Paris and I am getting the same error. I am now in Canada trying to contact them. Is anyone alos having problems wit Paris??

Beijing Case Specific Enquiry portal now has this message;

Case Specific Enquiry – Beijing
The Case Specific Enquiry form is currently unavailable due to a temporary technical issue.

For general enquiries, see:

Citizenship and Immigration website
Your case specific enquiry should be directed to the visa office in Beijing.

...which I guess means use the regular email address for general Enquiries: beijing-immigration@international.gc.ca

So, I chose to send my information by copying the info submitted via the Canada Case Specific portal page and attached this and some forms as PDF's and emailed to the suggested Beijing Immigration general email address... It's been almost 3 weeks, and after an auto-reply from them that the email had been received, they have not even opened the letter...., how do I know? I attached an email notification tracker.

If they truly grant 30+ thousand PRs from China on average per year, I guess that means they receive multiples of this number in emails. Curious about the total workforce in the various Visa Offices worldwide. ???

Yeap they wrote it on web page case specific enquiry unavailable for technical issue.I have also important to send enquiry but I couldn't yet.
