Case Specific Enquiry - ND CHC

I read in the forum sometime back that sending a case specific enquiry on the status of Passports could lead to our file getting into the bottom of the pile. I was planning to send one today as it is going to be 30 days since i sent my passport on 1st March and no updates yet.

Has anyone experienced anything like this ? It sounds a little unreasonable but just didn't want to take a chance.

Give them at least 2 weeks more. 45-60 days is normal, if nothing after 60 days, then you may contact them, be patient and positive. Soon you gonna have a good news.

It is really not because I am impatient but I have an urgent business travel out of country in the 1st week of April and I am concerned about not receiving the passports on time. Has anyone experienced any delays because of sending case specific enquiry ? Will appreciate a response from the seniors ...

mahharrouf said correct. At least 2 weeks more time may be taken for the passport, which can still go further. Even if you send a case specific enquiry, it is not necessary that you should get an immediate response from CHC. As you have already submitted your passport there is no other solution except waiting.
