Ash 1967,
ND CHC will interact only with your consultant. So, if his address is in Canada, ND CHC will send all the documents to his address only. And, yes, it will delay your receiving the documents a little bit - may be by a week or so.
Mirza897,
I met my DMP today who too was surprised to see the letter for Canadian embassy for further tests. I guess I have no choice but to get the additional tests done & then leave the rest to GOD.
Bobby,
Thanks for your reply. I just want to reconfirm if the point highlighted in red is a response received by New Delhi CHC by some other member. If this is really possible, I am more than relieved . Do you know if we can call them for this emergency and get an appointment fixed for any day...
Mirza897,
I haven't met my DMP yet , so I don't know what they have asked for. I will get in touch with you once I get more details. I too am surprised as to why it has gone to my DMP instead of me directly.
Today I got a notification from my DMP that they have received request for some additional tests for my child. I am in a real fix now as I had to travel out of country on official work by end of the month . I know for sure that even if we complete the tests, we will not get our passports back...
I tend to agree with Himanshukumar's comments regarding the need for Auditors & Accountants. But till such time the news is out, it is going to be anybody's guess.
Sbo,
I hope so too. I also read in the forum about the upcoming changes with the 38 NOC list and that 0111 & 1111 could be out of it. However, until the announcements happen, all of it could be classified as rumours . However, trying to see if there is a trend in delayed Visa issuance for this...
Starting a new thread for all those who have submitted their PPT & medicals and awaiting visas from New Delhi CHC. Just want to assess if ND CHC is taking any longer for Accountants lately. Please do share your timelines.
Docv , Deep9 or others waiting for Visa,
I am curious to know if anyone has sent a case specific enquiry on the status of visa . Is it advisable to send an enquiry or simply wait for CHC to process our case. My concern with making an enquiry is that it shouldn't delay the process any further.
Congratulations Mooving2canada.
I am afraid if we will get any further updates today. So, one more week gone. Has anyone had any experience with case specific enquiry after 30 days of sending PPT ? Would it have a negative impact ?
Deep9, what is your NOC code ?
Re: does it really matters if u hv worked abroad, new delhi applicants
Docv,
My timelines are similiar to yours. However i have not worked long term outside of india.
Mohit,
Going by the recent trend , 1 to 1.5 months seems to be the average time for return of passports. This is only indicative though ,as variations have been huge ; 7 days to >100 days.
Anushauc,
I am little concerned after reading your post regarding expediting of passports . When I sent mine, I requested them for expediting it , since I was supposed to travel out of country by end of March. I wish that they don't send back my passports without stamping . It has been over a...
Mogali,
ND CHC generally expects one to send all the documents, including the passports, together. However, you can request them whether you can delay sending the passport (though not sure about their response to it).ND will not entertain handing over passport in person. You will have to send...
