This worries me now!!! This means I better apply ASAP! I dont want to lose this opportunity.... because as of the current list, my husbands profession is not in one of the NOC approved/eligible categories...and if they take off NOC 1111 too, I'll lost the opportunity to apply as a FSW! I haven't taken the IELTS yet though. The new change is confusing, do we need to send in our scores or take the IELTS before sending in our initial application to NovaScotia? or can I send in my application and then take the IELTS and submit my score once I send in the other requires docs?
Any thoughts anyone??
Hi,
Interpretation of page no. 37 of New Change
Now decision concerning IELTS points claimed without IELTS test is on CIO officer as they have removed option of offer the applicant the opportunity to undergo and submit the
results of a designated language test within a certain time
period.
That means if you apply to CIO , Nova Scotia without IELTS result , Claim 16 points i.e High in Speaking , High in Reading , High in Writing , High in Listening and if CIO officer satisy o from your Papers like your Country , Your Designation , Your Other papers that you can have ability to get even Basic points 1+1+1+1 but not the points claimed by you i.e.4+4+4+4. then they will return your application without approval.
So my point is that it is very risky to apply without IELTS result now as discretion is with CIO officer.
Secondly , No one know about any changes which will effect on 1st May. But i can assure you that Canada still want Auditor and Accountants who can give Valuable services in the field of Accounts , Verification , Security , IFRS , implementing SOX and others. Most of Chartered Accountants who had previously landed in Canada now in USA so experienced person demand is still there in Canada in Accounts and Audit field.
So looking to practical situation , I dont think that Category 1111 will remove from new list
Personally i believe that book IELTS now
