Case resubmitted, 480 points, but no ITA yet.

Hi guys,

I submitted my old EE file last month, and the CIC canceled my file as "document incomplete". The incomplete file they indicate is the police certificate in South Korea, on which should include "lapsed criminal sentences, and investigation records" but there is not. I think they should give me some days to provide a new police certificate, rather than just cancelling my case......

So I filled in my new EE file a few hours ago and I submitted it right away, my score is 480 and I should have received an ITA letter right away(that's what happened last time). However, I've been waiting for hours but still do not got any ITA.

Could anyone please tell me is this normal for a case? Or I am missing something? I have registered jobbank already.

you will not receive ITA before next draw in which threshold is lower than your CRS score...

If it happened last time, it could be only by mistake in system, or some perfect timing that your profile was created few hours before the draw...

In order to receive ITA, you profile needs to be in EE pool at the time of draw - which happened on last Friday...

Maybe last time I was lucky enough that I submitted my old application right before the draft.

However my cancellation was received a short time after last draft and I have to wait another draft for my new application... I wish CIC can give a chance to provide the "incomplete document", but the chance is not high.

I am in a same boat with you - got cancelation on last ITA because I have uploaded ECA report and not original degree cert...

I hope everything will be fine - your score of 480 is great, and you will receive ITA soon... I am at 462 - hope to get it soon too...

This policy from CIC is so unacceptable, they should have given some time for applicants to provide any "incomplete document".

I have submitted an complaint and a specific case enquiry to CIC, I also included situation like yours (point might not be sufficient for re-apply) in both the complaint and the enquiry. Let's see if it will work.

what abt raising a CSE to reopen the old application? since alot of processing is already done there... new app means more time for processing again..
i read in the forum that some ppl did manage to reopen their application.
