Hi Everyone,
I believe this thread is going to be crucial for anyone who has either submitted their express entry application or is going to submit it soon. The reason being is that often people - including myself - have been receiving the query from the immigration officer to fill in after submitting their initial file.
My question is - Is it okay to make a single change in the address section - question 12 'Addresses' on the IMM 5669 form - upon identifying that I left a gap of one month in my initial express entry application?
If yes, I wonder if the immigration/case officer would perceive that change as a red flag since it is different from what I initially submitted? Below is the address history where I left a gap of one month.
Also, if I do make a change and rectify the issue of one month's gap, do I also need to make a separate explanation letter stating this change? Or is it okay just to rectify the gap since it is just the address section and it will be clearly understood to the immigration/case officer?
This should have been 2020-11-10, i.e., 10th November 2020.
I will be grateful if anyone can shed some light on this.
Thank you in advance,
Rishi.
