my husband filed our case on April 5, 2013 in Missisuaga... visa off is islamabad.. but tillnow we have not yet receievd any correspondence. Pls guide what to do?

Processing time for the first stage approval is 30 days. Sinc yours is taking more than 60 days, I suggest you contact CIC and make sure if your application is being assessed.

Your husband (if in Canada) should contact the call center to ask about the file. It has been over the posted processing time for stage 1. You may have missed emails from them that went to your junk mail. You should check that too. Sometimes they mail out the sponsor approval, but I don't think that it is common.

thanks everyone. my husband call at call centre number and the agent confirmed that they had sent email to him on April 23, 2013. may b my husband missed that out in junk.
