Good day seniors,

I have a serious query about the money we can carry while landing. My husband had applied for PR while he was in the US and we are landing in Canada next week. My husband is back home and we family of 3 including my daughter is travelling together to Canada.

Since he had shown 20,000.00 USD as a bank certificate in the initial application, we are taking about 19,000.00 CAD with us while landing along with the Bank Certificate. Now the question is : we are bound to declare if money( any form) exceeds 10K. Does 10K applies to each immigrant travelling or for all three of us? Can my husband carry 9.5K, I carry 9.5K and not declare; or we should carry money together and declare? Any sort of advices is highly appreciated, and good luck to all who are waiting.
God Bless! GR
