What is your application status? My application status is showing "Recommended for Assessment". I have applied for M.Sc. (Research Based) in Computer Science.
 
It still shows review in progress my department. When did your status change to recommended for assessment from review in progress by department.?

I cant tell the exact time. I saw my application more or less 1 week ago. Then it was "Preliminary review required". But today i saw Its "Recommended for Assessment".

Hi everyone!

Ive done Bachelors in Electronics and communication engineering in india with 7.5 cgpa. Im looking to do masters in CS.Could u suggest some universities that I would most likely get accepted into?

Additionally, I dont have any papers published nor did I have attended any conferences, but Ive got 8 months work experience and 4 months internship. Any help would really be appreciated. Ive tried asking before, but no one seems to be interested to answer. Definitely people who got admit would be in a position to help me. Please spare couple of minutes

TOEFL 79
Work experience 4 years

I wish to apply for MSc in CS but they keep rejecting my pre-screening application, I keep getting below response :

We regret to inform you that your pre-application has not been approved in the Master of Computer Science offered by the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Computer Science .
We thank-you for your interest in the Graduate Program in School of Computer Sciences at Carleton University.

The reason for denying an account could be one or more of the following:

1. Insufficient information (#hours of instruction time and/or grades) on twelve most recent CS courses.
2. Your GPA and/or grades in the (upper year) courses may be below our threshold.
3. Your overall GPA (either in percentage or following Carleton's grading scheme) is missing or is provided in a different grading scale.
4. Insufficient information on funding (self-supported, need scholarship, already have a scholarship, etc.)




Any suggestions ? How to improve
