Don't want to demotivate anyone but I think Carleton University is one of the worst Universities I encountered in my life.
I applied for Fall 13 for MS in CS.
My profile is :-
BTECH- CS- 74%
GRE- 303 (Q - 158 , V- 145 , AWA-3)
TOEFL- 96
IELTS- 7.0 Bands
Work ex- 2 yrs as Software Engineer.
They kept my application pending for 4 months and then Rejected. I was astonished with the decision as I saw some applicants with far below profile getting admit in the same program. Even my friends applied in Carleton still hasn't got the decision for Fall 2013. I think the reason for my reject was that both LOR was from my workplace but still man. . They shouldat least consider the individual profile and compare with the others.
The same story is with McMaster. . Meng in CS. Thought of gtng it easily as not many apply for MENG. prog . due to No Funding scene in it.
But all of us got rejected and that too on same date. Aug 1,2013. Disgusting. .
