Hi,

I am from India.My friend and family live in Alberta as a permanent resident.
Can I work as a caregiver of her children?.What are the process and procedures?.
When should I apply for PR if I got the job?

Do you meet the requirements to be a caregiver? Do you have at least one year of full time paid work experience in the last three years? Or do you have at least six months of full time related studies in the past three years?

The first step is for your employer to apply for an LMIA.

You will have to work in Canada full time for 2 straight years before you will qualify to apply for PR.

Hi,
I am a staff nurse from India with 7 years experience.Let me know my nursing experience is sufficient for child care or not.
What are the requirements of child care job.My employer ready to offer this job to me.what is approximate processing time to get PR(after two years).

I don't know if nursing experience is sufficient for child care. You'll need to do additional research and reading.

There are a number of things your employer must do in order to get an approved LMIA and be able to give you a job offer. Your employer should start by reading the information here:

You could run into problems asking to work for your relatives because the program was used to secure immigration for family members who would otherwise not qualify. You do have nursing training but that may be an issue.

Hi,

The employer is not our relative,but we know each other.They have two children's and want a caregiver.So they offer this job to me.Our concern is that my education and nursing experience is sufficient for a caregiver as per CIC rule.

My employer is a permanent resident in Canada and not got the canadian citizenship.Let me know whether they can apply LMIA or not.

Yes - they can apply for an LMIA.
