Hello everyone im a newbie here.
Iam current here in Riyadh working as a staff nurse in Neonatal ICu. I received my job offer and positive lmia in Canada as a direct hire. Right now im completing my papers to be submitted in VFS/ VAC. May I ask about overqualifications, because my job description revolves in the hospital settings and I will apply as a caregiver, could it be a mistmatch of job?

Hi CJ, welcome to the forum and congrats on your job offer and positive LMIA. As far as I know (I hope I have the right info, someone senior can correct me, lol), as long as your hospital experience in the last 3 years prior to sending an application has childcare experience, like that in Pediatric section or NICU for 1 year. (6 months of which should be with the same employer) I wish you all the best, keep us posted. Saudi has processing time similar to Manila (8weeks I believe). Godbless.

Hi, did you do biometrics?

I did not do biometrics since it is not required for Filipinos when I applied for my work permit in December 2018. Starting January 2019 it is mandatory to submit biometrics.
Did you submit your passport already? Did they tell you how many days it will be handed to you once submitted from VFS?
