Caregiver or HSW?

Im waiting for the final guidance about the Caregiver Pathway to PR. Hopefully March 31, 2025. If i have a 3year old child with autism. Which one is advisable on my case, hire a nanny or hsw since she have autism?

Giving the long processing time you will have to justify why you need a full-time childcare worker while your child is in school full-time.

With her condition, she needs someone to look after her even if she go to kindergarten (2hrs) in 2 years from now. Me and my spouse have a full time job and rotation shift. Im just wondering if childcare provider or hsw because of her condition.

She will be going to school so childcare provider. She is a child. Home support worker would be aligned with someone who requires 24/7 care, doesn’t go to school, cannot eat/drink/toilet on her own, may be incapacitated, wheelchair etc.

I want to apply for my sister for home support worker. I have 5 years old son and my husband and I work fulltime. My sister back home has 6 years old son. Will he get visa too with her.
Do I need funds in my account.

I came canada under HCCP as a Caregiver in 2023 and submit my work experience on 16 july 2024 ( IRCC changed changed 12 month to 6 month experience). I got adr of bank statement in September and get medical passed on 10 sept 2024 after that I have not heard anything from IRCC.

When I call ircc few days back they said..eligibility and background is done. Means all passed..

Question- I got my visa stamp till jan2026. And on work permit paper it was only for July 2025. [ i have submit my passport for renewing it is in process].

1 what i have to do if I want to quit my job ?

2 how can I extend my visa if in case I don't get any update from IRCC?

3 if I quit my job will it effect on my PR application if I tell them m unemployed. But my husband is working.

Please help.
