Hi there!

I would like to ask beside showing a proof of house deed, would a car ownership registered under my name also be a good idea? Though, the car is old 1997's model.

Not really, car ownership is a very common thing in North America. I don't think VO would care, they would just wonder why you included it. What is more important is for you to highlight your family, investments, assets (businesses) and proof that you spent alot of time in your home country

Thanks for your reply! Regarding assets, such as land or house properties. Assuming I own X lands who is registered under my deceased father's name, I can have these lands registration transferred to the heirs, me my mother and sister or I can have it signed under my name with 100% ownership, I can have their consent, though it is just a bit of a longer process to transfer.

Now, would it make any difference to the VO if an applicant has a land that he 100% owns vs. a land that is shared with other family members?
