CAQ & LMO applied through MICC - Approximate Timelines?

Hello,

My New employer applied for the CAQ+LMO through MICC on Sep 15, 2012.

On October 12, 2012, MICC had sent back all the documents and asked for me to sign on the CAQ application (I had initially done digital signature) and re-send the documents again. After signing, we have resent the documents again on October 15, 2012. Its been almost 6 weeks and haven't heard-back anything from MICC yet.

I wanted to know what would be the approximate processing / approval timelines for the CAQ & LMO to be granted? In some of the posts, I see that the Approximate completion time is given as 4-6 weeks. How can I know the status? Anybody recently applied for the CAQ+LMO, please let me know your processing timelines.

I received both, to get both took exactly 6 months! this is my timeline:

03.02.2012: LMO request submitted by employer to HRSDC
03.05.2012: HRSDC forwarded my file to MICC and CAQ was sent to MICC
16.07.2012: MICC requested original signatures on the forms (not digital)
20.07.2012: MICC received these forms
31.07.2012: LMO and CAQ were issued and signed by both HRSDC and MICC.

Not sure if this for me; still I am sharing

I am still outside Canada, got the visa two days back. Will start in Montreal begining of Jan 2013 in a managerial position in hotels.

I am inside Canada. And as per the new rule, I submitted both CAQ & LMO documents to MICC. Yet to hearback from them.

Yes inside canada should be faster like 4-6weeks. Your employer should call micc or service canada about the status of your applcation. Normally they will contact the emplyer to verify and withn weeks they will issue lmo and caq.

Below are my timelines currently.
CAQ & LMO documents sent to MICC - September 17, 2012.
MICC send back the documents to sign on CAQ documents - October 12, 2012.
Sent the signed documents back to MICC - October 15, 2012.

It is more than 2 months since I initially filed my application. And exactly 6 weeks since I sent the signed documents to MICC. Not news from them yet. I am a bit tensed now. Even my employer has no information yet from MICC. Not sure why there is a delay....
