Hi,
I am a British student going to study at Laval university for one year at the end of August.

I started the Caq application in April but only sent the documents off by mail once I could, which was on the 11th of June.
I still haven't heard anything regarding my application with the online form looking like this:

Opening of your file
: 2017-04-30

Confirmation of payment:
2017-04-29
Acknowledgement of receipt of your application:2017-04-29

I was wondering if I should be worried by this long application time, and if not, would I still have time to get a student visa before I leave on the 27th August?
Thank you

Hi! Don't panic, it's normal. It generally takes a little more than a month to process ones CAQ. They also take a while to notify you when they've received your documents, but once that's done you should receive it in a week or so.
As far as I'm aware, citizens of all countries except the United States require study permits along with their CAQs in order to study in Quebec. Getting both done before your fall semester begins might be a little difficult.

Hello all,

I mailed in my missing documents for the CAQ on 10th july, and the courier was delivered on 17th july. I was wondering how long it would take for them to issue the CAQ after this.

Will I have to wait another 20+ business days for them to process the missing documents? Or should I be expecting something within the coming week? Any insight on this would help.

Thanks!
