caps reached!!!

HI PLS HELP..I sent my application for NOC cook category my courier received by CIO on 4th apr when the caps were 450 but when I checkd the capping after 2 days ie on 6th it reachd 500. Will they include my application??? I am so nervous

hi. no worries about that. once the caps reach the maximum numbers they will put you on the next batch. as long as youre documets is qualified.keep on praying

My brother in law also applied as cook but hasn't heard anything and is worried about the cap. His app arrived march 18. But I read here that they return the application. You're saying they keep it until July 1 when the numbers reset?

That's sound advice. I also suggest not thinking about the uncertainty, like focus on your current work.

That's incorrect. Once the cap is reached they will not put you in the next batch. They return the application package.

No, they will not.

If the NOC has already reached its cap at the point the application is due its completeness check, it will simply be returned.

They will not save applications for next year. There is no guarantee that NOC would be on the list next year (if even if there will be an FSW1 category).

I agree, the OP should wait for an official communication from CIC. However, the OP should prepare that the likelyhood is it will be returned as the cap would probably have been filled

As per Latest update on CIC the numer of completed application recieved is 9570, reaching 10,000 mark. Per day some 23 applications are being cleared as acceptaed or okayed between 14 march 2012 to date.

Thought cap of my NOC 7242 is not nearing to getting full, I am worried for how many there could be in queue - the application reached but in waiting. Mine reached on 22 march.

Praying hard for not missing the current year lot!

Ive started this forum for the applicants to share the experience regarding ther application reaching to CIO when the cap is about to close or just missing it...For me Im keeping my fingers crossed as mine has reached just 2 days before the capping for cook is closed and mine was reached when it was 450...dont know wether itll be included or not?? pls guide
