Dear KSA0510,

Thanks a lot for your reply, I highly appreciate it! One quick question though. You said UCI number is only for one person. However I had applied for both me and my wife. But I only got one UCI number in email from CIC office in Sydney however they have processed payment of $1,100 which for both me and my wife i.e $550 per person. So I believe this UCI number I received holds good for both me and my wife since I filed out application together but need your advice since you mentioned UCI number is only for 1 person??
Your wife's UCI # will come along with your medical request(MR) from your VO please.
Best of luck.

Dear All

I've applied for FSW 2014 in NOC 2174. My application was reached on 25th Sep 2014. My applied NOC 2174 was capped on around 10th Oct. But still I did not get any email notification and did not get the application back. Can you please help me so that I could contact with Immigration office and could query about the status of my application.

Thanks

Dear Friends,

If the application has not been picked up for assessment and if the occupation has reached the cap,
will CIC return the application package ? (as the application package contains original DD and IELTS score card etc..)
There is NO news about the application/file since courier delivery in October 2014.

Kindly advice -Thank you.

Dear All,

Is NOC 2172 already capped ??? I ask this because my application reached CIC on dec 22nd. Also I see few guys saying that NOC 2172 has reached cap limit and files being returned.
Please shed some light.

Thanks,

Hi KSA0510,

I just received my FBI report. I have already received PER for NOC 2281. My lawyer told me that we should wait until CIO asks for my and my wife's FBI police certificates but since FBI police certificates was a mandatory requirement for "Documents Checklist for FSW application", I believe my FBI police certificates should be sent to CIO right away, correct? I mean we should NOT wait for CIO to request and then send FBI police certificates, correct? Please advise.

Please note that the PCC can be submitted after application as well. Go through the checklist again and it is mention over there.

You should not send documents to CIO as once you have received your PER, your file is transferred to Visa Office. Check with CIO on the visa office.

Generally, PCC are submitted when the Visa Office demands them as the AOR received from the VO clearly states that we should not send them any document till asked for. Therefore many of us are just sitting on our PCC.

Rest, it is your call how to take it forward.

Thanks for your reply ashishv. I talked to my lawyer and he said that he has already frwarded my and my wife's documents to FBI. He said that even though the PER email from CIC stated "not to send any documents until further requested", it doesn't matter at the end of the day and told me not to worry about it as it is not a big deal. I have no other option but to trust him since he is a very experienced lawyer....Hopefully, Visa Office won't rise any red flag on why I sent them my PCC even without them asking for it!

Friends, Any clue about NOC 1123. No movement since October 2014

The email which you received from VO is called AOR.

After AOR, you will receive a SLU (Second Line Update in your ECAS) or a MR (Medical Request). Both of them will happen in close timelines to each other.

Hi,

I would appreciate if someone can help me out here. I just got medical request email from my lawyer today who is representing my case in CIC. I am an Indian citizen who is living and working in U.S.A on H-1B visa since last 6 years. My lawyer didn't clear earlier that I need police certificates from both INDIA AND U.S.A. My FBI report has already been sent to CIC but CIC told me I need to get my police clearance certificates from India as well. They have given a 60 day deadline for it. I will be contacting Indian embassy in Houston tomorrow itself to get my police certificate but it may take up to 8 weeks to get it.In that case, will CIC reject my application i they get this document a little late????
