Guys, I saw an entry (2174) in the Global SS that reached CIO around June 16 and was rejected due to CAP. Not sure of my chances now.

MY friend , I apply on NOC 2173 send 26 September i"m main applicant , my spouse experience on noc 2281 , I send all required document for me and my spouse(main duty letter , ILETS ,EAC and Police Clearance ) , I think My Chance IN MY NOC 2173 is less now can CIC take my spouse application OR not ??
I send All Document in one envelop under NOC 2173 .

when CIC will work on 26 September application ?

I have 1 year of full-time experience in U.S.A as "Network and Computer Systems Administrator" which is one of the titles mentioned under NOC 2281 titles. I feel that I have a great chance of getting PER given my experience for this NOC (1 yars in U.S.A, IELTS=8.5, Masters degree in Telecommunications from U.S.A and other factors) I just want to rest assured that if I send my application by Novermber 7.2014 then I will be safe. Can anybody please confirm this? Thank you!

Hi,

No one on can confirm you it. However, there are chances for you in NOC 2281, as this is not one of the hottest NOC's as the moment. Going forward, if you are really interested in FSWP then send your application ASAP and don'y worry about the cap.

Just saw that the June 16th applicant changed his/her status to "Received at CIO". Weird.

Thanks a lot for your responses. Just 2 more questions I wanted to ask as below:

1) I am seeing in this forum that people who didn't get accepted in 2172 or 2173 or 2174 can alternatively submit their application for NOC 2281. I just don't get how is this remotely even possible as there is a WORLD OF DIFFERENCE between duties of 2172/2173/2174 AND 2281. A software Engineer and designer (NOC 2173), a Database analyst (NOC 2172) and a Computer Programmer (NOC 2174) would have NEVER performed the duties of a Computer Network technician (NOC 2281) Hence I believe that unless the applicants of NOC 2173/2172/2174 can get their Titles changed in their Employment verification and Offer letters, it will be IMPOSSIBLE for them to claim NOC 2281. Is this correct?

2) The CIC.GC.CA CAP status website link shows that the "Number of Completed applications counted towards 1,000 cap" is 242 and this is per May 4,2014 estimate in the "Footnote" section of the website. The how can anybody predict the current CAP status for NOC 2281? Any guesses as of October 11,2014 for NOC 2281 CAP count?

Ksa - My Qn has nothing to do with SS. I am talking about actual CIC data. How can they jump 222 in a single week. Is it that they are not updating it properly or that the processing of documents are much faster now.

Anycase it doesnt make sense for the astronomical jump.

I noticed that we all are hung up on the caps for each noc, but what about the overall cap?? Right now it topped 5223. How safe will be late December applicants? Will the overall cap be reached by this time?

It will be safe for only few applicants.
Overall cap can't be defined for now.
We can get a clue to that from late Nov please.

Hello everyone, I admire ur great attitude over here, let me ask about the experience certificate,under 0311 health care manager, should it have any official stamps if its issued from private medical center, or it will be enough to have the official stamp of the practice and stamp of the owner?
and if not,how will they check the authenticity of such certificate?
