Hello janeyandstuart,
I see you have sent your degrees by courier to WES, can't we do it online by sending them notarized copies of degrees? How many days do you think it will take for them to evaluate degrees. Please advise.
Thanks.

I don't know but I'm a Medical Radiation Technologist and there's no way we'll get anywhere near a cap of 300 before the others max out.

In the 2011-2012 intake of 29 priority occupations, caps were reached in 14. These included family and specialist physicians, pharmacists, dentists, registered and licensed practical nurses, social workers and architects. Now that some of these are off the NOC list, perhaps it will free up places in other occupations. Kind of interesting.

I sent my degree by courier to WES today and went to my university who sent my transcript today. Can't do any more until CIC releases new forms!

Hi,
Sorry. I wasn't specific. I sent WES a copy of my degree.
They say 7 working days on the website once all paperwork received.
I don't know whether or not that is accurate. It seems fast!

Thank you foryour prompt response, really appreciate it.
I suppose you sent them notarized copies,is that right?
Also aren't we suppose to ask University/ Institution to send them the transcripts and degrees? Or we have to also send them the notarized copies and ask our University to send the transcripts to WES.

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
We have to send a copy of our degree ourselves.
My uni sent an original academic transcript.
Both were posted express and should arrive in 2-4 days from posting which should be Monday at the earliest, Wednesday at the latest.
I will check on my WES account each day and let you know if they are happy with the documents or whether there are any problems.
I did not send a notarized copy of my degree as no where on the website did I see this stipulation. Requirements are slightly different depending on which country you are from however. Also I have contacted CIC in the past and have been told that all documents for my application can be copies and do not need to be notarized.
