cap status are not updating regularly on tuesdayswhat could be the reason....from last two months noc 2263 cap is receving 7 applications per week average...as my application sending date is 26 sep.... i m feeling scared about my application to be considered in cap....kindly help me in this regard

i want to know that if my application is received at cic desk in Ist week of october...what are the chances when it will be open...can u tell me about trend of noc 2263....is there any chance of filling the cap before opening of my application as everage increse from last two months is 7 in one week(cap count)...BECAUSE IF JULY APPLICATIONS ARE OPENING now a days then there is gap of 2 to 2.5 months in between.some one kindly explain me on my situation.....

It will take 2 to 2 1/2 months for your application to be opened from the time it was received. Yes - there's always a chance the cap (either NOC cap or overall cap) could be reached before your application is opened. None of us here can tell you how big or how small a chance. You'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I can't see ur details in spreadsheet. Why don't do join this forum and provide ur data to get valuable suggestions.

In 2263 as per excel spreadsheet 19 people from forum have received the PER as compared to CIC figure of 113, so the excel spreadsheet represents 1/6th of global 2263 candidates. There are only 8 people in excel spreadsheet who are still waiting for PER. So in my opinion, you should be safe; unless of cousre there are many applicants like yourself, who have not entered their details in the spreadsheet.

This total cap information on the CIC website is misguiding for new people who like to apply in FSW program. I am one of them who got misguided. I also heard that even attorneys are taking this as advantage to trap new candidates. They advocate saying that the cap is not reached, so you have good chances of making in this year... but first pay the first installment and get all documents ready.

CIC should post the actual number of applications received for a particular occupation as of given date... or atleast they should mentioned the date as of which the number of applications opened on the list.
I am disappointed in their information sharing aspect.
