Can't Update Express Entry Information in Job Bank

Hey guys!

Recently I have updated my EE profile and it became ineligible because there was an technical incompatibility. I have created another one and now have to update the EE profile number and validation code in the Job Bank. When I try to do so, it shows a message saying:

The form could not be submitted because 1 error was found:
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later, and if the problem persists, contact the Job Bank Team.


I have tried to do update it over and over again at different hours but no luck. Has anybody encountered this problem? Do you know what can be done to resolve this issue? Please help ???

Sounds like a technical error. Did you contact job bank as they suggest?

Give some time and try agian

I have already contacted the support team but the automatically generated e-mail I have received says it may take up to 5 business days or more to respond. I am freakin' out that's why I shared my concern ;D

My express entry profile created in June expired few days back, possible due to expiry of IELTS. I have created a new express entry profile, but it shows the job bank registration is pending. I have updated my job bank account which was linked to the previous express entry profile using the "Update Express Entry Information" using the new express entry profile number and job seeker code. I'm wondering why MyCIC is still showing the job bank registration as pending. It has only been 12 hours since I updated it.

Is this the right method for job bank if the earlier express entry profile got ineligible? Does it usually take few days to get this updated in MyCIC?

Hi!!! I am facing the same problem- above error message you have mentioned, while re-creating job bank with new EE profile and job validation code. How did you finally sort out the issue. Please advise
