Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi folks, I have employer reference letters for all my jobs over the last 10 years but I can't get one for a job between 2002-2006. Should I delete the job from my work history in my permanent resident application?
Does it matter that I had mentioned the job in my ITA application?

Please give me some advice. Thank you so much.

You don't need reference letter(s) for the work experience you are not claiming / cannot claim any points for.

Why do you need that? That is more than 10 years. We can have the maximum points for "three years or more ". There is no point available after 3 years. But wait for some experts answer.

So it doesn't matter that I mentioned the occupation in my ITA? In my PR application I can just delete that occupation from my work experience history list and move it to my personal history?

That's what I'm wondering as well but some people tell me I still need to get a reference letter for that first occupation. The first occupation doesn't even relate to my NOC.

That's what most applicants do [i.e., keep all such details in the personal history].

You need employer letter if you put them in work history. You do not need anything if you put the work experiences into the personal activities. You can remove that, no issue. ( people say that in this forum)

Correct!!!

- Work used to claim points should be listed under Work History and requires reference letters
- Entire work history during last 10 years or since you turned 18 should be listed under personal history.

You don't need to prove work that is not used to earn CRS points.

I have 3 years and 3 days foreign work experience in the latest 2 occupations. I wrote 10 years more in ITA, but I am going to remove the 10 years, because 3 years is the maximum which gives points. I do not need more headache. ( there is enough headache, anyway. )

Sorry I'm a bit confused.

Why would you put 10 years of work experience when you have just 3 years and 3 days of work experience?

I put 13 years work experience in ITA, I did not know we can claim points only for 3years. Now ,I am going to remove everything which is above 3 years. So I will keep only 3 years and 3 days work experience in work history and removing the rests to the personal history.

If you apply in FSW category you can claim points for 6 years to be eligible through FSW. To get the maximum points from 100, you can get the most points having 6 years work experience. To get the maximum Crs we just need 3years. Be sure which did you get points for in ITA.
I am in CEC.
Somebody has a same question in this forum ,and one senior corrected this infirmation about 3 years maximum.
