Can't access Ecas

Took a couple of tries today, (it kept timing out), but I got through and it had been updated from "Application Received" to "In Process"

Do you mean that if we try same data multiple times, it may go through??

No, the connection itself just timed out, might have been too busy when I was trying.

Oddly enough, I just tried with my wife's UCI and it couldn't find any record of her...

It's been down for two weeks in our case, and if the system is located in Ontario it won't be fixed today as it is a statutory holiday.

It's not a statutory holiday for people working for the Government of Canada, wherever they work.

You're right, I was mistaken. It works for me now, but it says Application Received even though we have already received our passport request.

After 4 weeks Ecas has finally reappeared though sponsorship now says "In Process" as opposed to "Decision Made" and permanent residence says "Application Received".

I suppose it doesn't really matter since no one's Ecas is ever current.

Mine didn't update from Application Received to In Process until several days after I got my PPR
