Hi, we have been asked by CPP Ottawa to submit some docs after appeal allowed, one of the forms is IMM 008, the problem is that my husband in Pakistan cannot download this form from there. Has anyone gone through the same and whats the solution. I even tried sending him the file but didnt work. Any sugestion will be helpful. Thanks

if you have the PDF file on your computer you can compress it using a tool like WinRAR or WinZip, then email it to your husband. The file size once compressed should be no larger than 750 kB. good luck.

Hello Saima13,

I didn't have the problem of not being able to download it, but rather of not being able to open it. It gave me a page saying something like "Please update your version of Adobe Acrobat" or something like that.

The problem is that it's a special type of PDF file that many non-Adobe PDF readers can't read. This problem occurred for me on Linux and also for my wife on her Mac. The only solution we found was to download Adobe Acrobat and use it, even though we would have preferred to use our own PDF readers.
