Hey all,
I'm confused by what is on the website. I'm told that I require a police certificate from every country where I have lived for more than 6 months.
I have been in Canada now 18 months and am applying for PR inland under Spousal sponsorship.....therefore I believe I need to get a local Police Certifiate and include with my application....but...
When I go to the information on Police Certs for Canada...
It says:
"How to get a police certificate - Canada
Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? No
Name of document(s) to get: Criminal Record Check
How to get a Police Certificate:
If you are not a citizen of Canada"
So.....I don't need one even though I've been here for 18 months? Or is it something they will ask of me later in the process? (wouldnt it quicken the process if included one?"
Any ideas?
