Wondered why they bought this express entry with LIMA into force ... see how the Canadian govt is planning to root out all the immigrants ...

Thank you , Canada

Did you even read the article? It has nothing to do with LMIA or Express Entry.
The C-24 bill gives the government discretion to strip the citizenship of anyone convicted of terrorism or treason – provided they have or are eligible dual citizenship.
Why is this so outrageous in your opinion?

Read the article, it has nothing to do with LMIA. And yes, thank you Canada! You've been great to me and I appreciate the chance to actually try and get PR in under 6 months!

I knew it doesn't specify anywhere regarding LIMA ...

but think about the whole process of LIMA .. if you thoroughly look at LIMA process .. its hard for any employer to issue LIMA ....

The main reason behind introducing the LIMA is to not give entry to new immigrants

and it is proved agin with this new bill that they want to kick all the immigrants in general and Asian immigrants in particular...

Quit spreading these ridiculous notions. You clearly don't possess the skills to understand the article so quit summarizing it.

It is NOT your RIGHT to be Canadian or to live in Canada, or any other country that you we're not born into. If this country doesn't want you here then too bad for you.

The LMIA process gives priority to those individuals who have done the work to make themselves more appealing to Canada. Quit lashing out at the government and belittling the accomplishments of those that have an LMIA because you haven't put in the work required to get one!

There are plenty of people on this forum who have an LMIA, the cutoff scores of the 10 Express Entry draws also prove that.
Instead of instigating against the Canadian government you may want to improve your CRS score.

nothing about that says they want to "kick all immigrants in general". I have no problem with Canada being able to revoke the citizenship of people convicted of terrorism or treason, that weren't born here. Canada gave them a chance, they fcuked it up. They don't have to be Canada's responsibility.

Absolutely agree with purplesnow.
This article comes in light with one pakistani immigrant is being deported for plotting terror attacks in States and Canada.
By the way, the above mentioned article is also from a agency based in Pakistan. And yes, not just Canada, any country should take action if you are found guilty under terrorism.
Let's not spread rumors and brace changes.

Terrorists have no place in this world. Good that Canada is taking care and protecting people from these idiots.

Actually, the whole point of Citizenship is that once earned, it is your right, protected by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

If you know it's not about the LMIAs, then don't bring it up. It is not hard for employers to get LMIAs if their jobs actually need immigrants and can't find Canadians. I got 3 LMIAs for 3 different companies in less then 2 years. I know plenty of people who got them.
There is no proof what-so-ever that Canada is trying to kick out all immigrants in general. What they are trying to do is make sure the immigrants coming into Canada want to become Canadian and will integrate into society. So, if you have no job, don't have a unique or high skill set, can't speak the language, or aren't doing work that Canadian don't want to do, then they don't really have a need to have you here.
I have no problem with that. Any government has the duty to protect their citiznes and if they think immigrants are harming their society they have every right to curb it. It doesn't matter what you think or want. All that matters is what they think is good for their country.

Exactly. The OP is not willing or able to put in the effort in to EARN it, therefore it is NOT the OPs right. As you might notice I was speaking directly to that person.

I just wish people like the OP would stop attacking the government and more importantly stop attacking those that HAVE worked so hard to get to the point where a country welcomes them, simply because he/she is not willing to put in the same amount of work. It belittles what many of the people on this forum have accomplished to bring their score above the cutoff.

Em this article refers to people convicted of terrorism offences are you aware of that? I say good for Canada, wish my country started kicking out terrorism supporters also

There have been cases where Citizenship and PRship being stripped from immigrants for being fraudulent in their applications. [1] Now they are extending that to accusation of terrorism. Stop it, as well as Bill C-51 [2].

But yea, that article from OP has nothing to do with PR process and LMIA. People do need to learn to read.
